Transfer of Credits

MICMoR Fellows will be enrolled either at KIT or at one of the partner institutions (TUM, LMU, Universities of Augsburg, Würzburg, Bayreuth, DLR, Helmholtz Zentrum München).

Therefore, they might also participate in a Graduate Programme at their home universities. Consequently, Fellows may also be eligible (or required) to take courses offered by their home universities in addition to the Graduate Programme offered by MICMoR, such as e.g. transferable skills courses, scientific courses.

Courses at partner institutions can be approved by MICMoR in order to reduce redundancy in course participation. Fellows can pursue a transfer of credits by an informal letter to the MICMoR Coordination Office. To avoid duplication and redundancy, MICMoR will help coordinate the programme for each Fellow on a case-by-case basis.

To get courses offered by MICMoR approved at partner institutions, cooperation agreements will be pursued with partner universities and graduate programmes at those institutions. These agreements will set out the conditions for membership in more than one graduate programme and mutual acceptance of the respective (complementary) training activities.
