Mentoring   
Thesis Advisory Committee Meetings Discussion of research plan and progress report 2 per year meetings and submission of protocols to the Coordination Office compulsory

MICMoR Community & Networking
Research Forum Meetings of MICMoR Fellows and Scientists; Keynote Talk; Fellows' presentations, discussion of PhD work
2 per year,
up to 1 day each
regular participation compulsory, video conference possible
Retreats Fellow meetings self-organised, discussion of specific questions, such as environmental science methodology, research ethics, constructive criticism in large groups etc. 1 per year,

'Spitzenforscherwerkstatt' MICMoR Fellows meet international scientists at Schneefernerhaus, Zugspitze 1 per year,
